Problem :

Many café brands focus heavily on coffee itself, but fail to communicate the emotional experience people seek when they visit a coffee space. Beyond drinks, customers often look for comfort, conversation, and a sense of belonging.

The challenge was to create a brand identity that feels memorable and welcoming while clearly expressing the idea of connection and casual human interaction.

Solution :

Chatters was developed as a warm and approachable coffee brand centered around conversation. The identity combines a refined wordmark with a minimal cup-inspired symbol to visually connect coffee culture with the idea of dialogue.

The soft lavender palette, elegant typography, and fluid line work create a calm, friendly, and slightly premium tone that makes the brand feel inviting without becoming overly playful.

Challenge :

The main challenge was balancing two ideas within one identity: coffee and communication. The design needed to feel relevant to a café brand while still making the concept of “a place to talk” visually clear.
Another challenge was keeping the logo simple and scalable while giving it enough personality to work across packaging, signage, social media, and other brand touchpoints.

“Chatters” is a coffee brand identity concept built around the emotional value of conversation. It presents a café not only as a place to drink coffee, but as a space where people connect, pause, and share moments.
